Forensic Consultation

I have seven years of experience as a forensic scientist at the New York State Police Crime Laboratory System.  I began my work in the Seized Drugs section, analyzing hundreds of evidentiary items for the presence of controlled substances in local, state and federal criminal cases. I tested a wide breadth of substances including powders, liquids, pharmaceuticals, vegetation, drug paraphernalia, etc. and testified to my findings in court.  After three years of criminal casework, I was promoted to a lab management role in the quality assurance office where I supported the crime lab in maintaining a robust quality management system and led learning and development.  I am available to support forensic laboratories (large and small) in training staff, optimizing workflows, and fostering a vibrant and healthy work environment.

I am also enthusiastic about supporting academic forensic departments to develop and enrich forensic curriculum.
